What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains what information Everyday Insight Post collects when you visit this website, how we use it and the choices you have. This policy does not cover other websites that we link to.

Information we collect

We collect information in two ways:

  • Information you send us. If you write to us, we receive your email address, the content of your message and your name if you give it. Please do not include medical details.
  • Information collected automatically. When you visit, our servers and our advertising and measurement partners may collect your IP address, your device and browser type, the pages you visit and how you interact with them, and information stored through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to run and improve the website, to reply to your messages, to understand how readers reach and use our articles, to measure and deliver advertising, to keep the website secure and to meet legal obligations.

Advertising and measurement

With your choice, we and our partners may use cookies and similar technologies for measurement and advertising. Our Cookie Policy explains what these technologies are and what each type does. No advertising or measurement partner is active on this site today. We will name each partner here before it is added.

We do not sell personal information for money. But some state privacy laws, including California’s, define “sale” and “sharing” broadly, and our use of advertising and measurement technologies may count as a sale or as sharing under these laws. See Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

Your choices

  • Cookie settings. Use Cookie settings in the footer to turn Measurement and Advertising on or off at any time.
  • Global Privacy Control. Where technically supported, we honor the Global Privacy Control signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information for the browser where it is turned on.
  • Do Not Sell or Share. Follow the steps on Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, such as asking what we hold about you or asking us to delete or correct it.

Data retention

How long we keep information depends on the type of information and why we collected it. The cookie that stores your privacy choices lasts 180 days. We keep messages sent to us by email only as long as needed to answer them and to handle any correction or privacy request they relate to.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to privacy@everydayinsightpost.com.

Security

No website or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information. The site is served over HTTPS. It has no user accounts and does not collect payment details.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our website, our partners or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
